On April 9, Dalian COSCO KHI Ship Engineering Co Ltd.(DACKS) held a steel cutting ceremony for three 64,000 DWT bulk carriers (DE161/162/165), which set a new record for the largest number of vessels started in parallel since the company’s establishment.
It is understood that the three 64,000 DWT bulk carriers under construction are built by DACKS for a well-known European ship owner.
