CIMC SOE Delivers LNG Croatia Regasification Module to Wärtsilä

Recently, Nantong CIMC Sinopacific Offshore & Engineering Co., Ltd (CIMC SOE) successfully loaded and shipped the LNG CROATIA regasification module it built for Wärtsilä (Norway).

The LNG CROATIA regasification module delivered this time is an expansion of the gasification capacity based on the original FSRU LNG CROATIA, and is installed at the front end of the regasification module of the original FSRU.

The module measures 17m*15m*17m and weighs 421 tons. It is equipped with two LNG booster pumps, a BOG recondenser, two LNG vaporizers, a compensation heater, a glycol heater, a glycol circulation pump and a glycol expansion tank. The module is divided into four layers, with the bottom layer being a carbon steel deck and the top three layers being stainless steel platforms.

The successful delivery of the regasification module is the second time that CIMC SOE and Wärtsilä join hands after a lapse of 7 years. It further consolidates the long-term strategic cooperation relationship between the two parties and fully demonstrates the comprehensive strength and professional level of CIMC SOE in the offshore engineering field.

At present, CIMC SOE’s offshore products cover all kinds of cargo tanks, fuel tanks, regasification modules, re-liquefaction skids, high and low pressure skids, FGSS skids, etc., which can provide diversified and comprehensive solutions for the global offshore market.
