The vessels are based on a similar design as the first two vessels and will have capabilities to serve both oil & gas and renewable markets. The scheduled delivery for the vessels is from third quarter 2027 to fourth quarter 2027.
These 2 new vessels are sister vessels to the 2 Offshore Energy Support Vessels signed in November 2024 between the parties. The first 2 vessels are also scheduled for delivery in 2027. At the end of last year, the two sides had revealed that they were in talks for more new vessels.
The four vessels will be of similar design and features and will all serve the oil, gas and renewable energy markets upon delivery.
The vessels will be 120 meters long, with a cargo deck of 1,400 square meters. Each ship will feature a 250-tonne deck crane and provide accommodations for up to 120 personnel. Both vessels will be equipped with an ROV hangar and a moonpool. Based on the ST-245 design by Skipsteknisk, the vessels are methanol-ready and the generators can operate on 100% biofuel.
