On March 24, New Yangzi Shipbuilding, a subsidiary of Yangzijiang Shipbuilding Group, delivered the 4,600TEU container ship “Xinqinghai” to Trawind Shipping Logistics, marking the second vessel of this series to be put into operation.
The “Xinqinghai” container ship has an overall length of 228 meters, a beam of 40 meters, a depth of 19.6 meters and a design draft of 13.75 meters.
The ship commenced construction in late April 2024 and is classed by China Classification Society (CCS). The vessel is an energy-saving and environmentally friendly container ship with excellent portability and strong market competitiveness for both domestic and foreign trade.
After being put into operation, it will help the shipowner to further optimize the fleet structure, provide customers with better transportation services, and enhance the company’s operation and management capability and market competitiveness.
It is reported that the delivery of this ship marks the successful conclusion of the project of two 4,600 TEU container ships built by Yangzijiang Shipbuilding Group for Trawind Shipping Logistics.
