Bomesc Achieves 46.76% Revenue Surge in FY2024

On March 20th, Chinese Engineering, Procurement and Construction company Bomesc Offshore Engineering Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Bomesc”) released its 2024 Annual Report.

The announcement disclosed that Bomesc achieved operating revenue of RMB2,640,233,800 (approximately US$364 million) in FY2024, representing an increase of 46.76% as compared with that of FY2023, of which RMB234,272,200,000 was derived from the natural gas liquefaction module and RMB2,384,436,400 was derived from the offshore oil and gas resources development module; and the net profit attributable to shareholders of the listed company in FY2024 amounted to RMB105,455,000, representing an increase of RMB17,602,500,000 as compared with that of FY 2023, an increase of RMB17,602.25 million, reversing the loss to profit.

Bomesc is oriented to the global market and focuses on high-end customers in the natural gas liquefaction, offshore oil and gas development, mining and other industries, providing them with special module integrated design and construction services. The company’s main product categories are divided into natural gas liquefaction modules, offshore oil and gas development modules, mining modules, etc., and the specific products involve more than a dozen subcategories.

The annual report shows that BOMESC has been executing its orders well and its performance has steadily recovered. At the same time, with the advancement of the company’s industry layout, the company has once again won large contract orders. In January 2025, BOMESC announced that it had signed a contract with STSVOF to build the upper modules of an Floating Production Storage and Offloading unit (FPSO). The contract value was RMB 750 million to RMB 1 billion. The main scope of work included the design, material procurement and construction of the upper modules of the FPSO. It is reported that STS is a company registered in the Netherlands, jointly owned by a wholly-owned subsidiary of SBM and a wholly-owned subsidiary of T.EN. After the construction of this FPSO is completed, it will be deployed in the Suriname oil field and is scheduled to be completed in January 2027.
