CSSC (Tianjin) Shipbuilding kicks off Third 115,000 DWT Product Tanker for Vitol International Shipping

CSSC (Tianjin) Shipbuilding, a subsidiary of Dalian Shipbuilding Industry Corporation (DSIC), kicked off the construction of the 86th 115,000 DWT product oil tanker for Singapore Vitol International Shipping.

It is reported that this vessel is the first product tanker built by CSSC (Tianjin) Shipbuilding for Vitol International Shipping, and is the third 115,000 DWT product tanker built by CSSC (Tianjin) Shipbuilding, the first two were built for Greece’s Cape shipping company.

The vessel has an overall length of 249.80 meters, a beam of 44.00 meters, a depth of 21.2 meters, a design draft of 13.75 meters, a deadweight of 114,800 tons and a cargo tank that can carry more than 800,000 barrels of crude oil products.

The main engine and generator meet the Tier III emission standard of the International Maritime Organization, and the maneuvering performance, economic performance, energy-saving and green environmental protection performance are all better than those of the same type of vessels, with strong market competitiveness.

Recentlt, CSSC (Tianjin) Shipbuilding has undergone industrial and commercial changes, the registered capital from RMB 500 million (about US$ 69.1 million) to RMB 4.785 billion (about US$ 661 million), an increase of 857%, at the same time, a number of key personnel have changed.
