RHM-Built Two GENMA 150-ton Mobile Harbor Cranes Arrive in Americas

Two GENMA 150-ton Mobile Harbor Cranes (MHC), manufactured by Nantong Rainbow Heavy Machineries (RHM), have safely arrived at a customer’s port in the Americas. The cranes, recognized for their robust engineering and advanced capabilities, were welcomed in a ceremony attended by the national leader and port authority officials on March 11. The event marks the beginning of on-site assembly and testing before official handover.

Adaptable Design for Multifunctional Operations

Designed to handle diverse cargo types—containers, bulk materials, and general goods—the MHC is equipped with interchangeable spreaders and grabs, ensuring flexibility across all port scenarios.

Eco-Efficient Performance

The MHC’s hybrid power system combines diesel engines with energy recovery technology, capturing excess energy during operation and converting it into reusable power. This innovation reduces fuel consumption and emissions by up to 30% compared to conventional systems, aligning with global sustainability goals.

Intelligent Features for Enhanced Safety, Key smart technologies integrated into the MHC include:

Auto-Loading Precision: AI-driven path planning for efficient cargo handling.
Sway Reduction: Stabilizes loads during lifting and movement.
Collision Avoidance: Real-time sensors prevent accidents in busy port environments.

GENMA MHC exemplifies our commitment to delivering solutions that prioritize efficiency, safety, and environmental stewardship. Final commissioning will ensure seamless integration into the port’s operations, paving the way for smarter, greener logistics.
