According to news from CCCC Shanghai Dredging, the Fujian Putian Lianda Shipbuilding and Repair Base project, constructed by the company, has recently seen a surge in construction activity.
The project site of the base is located in the North Coastal Economic Development Zone of Meizhou Bay, Putian City, with a total investment of RMB 609,679,500 and a total designed construction period of 548 calendar days. The construction content of the project is reclaimed land, supporting the dock and the corresponding ship repair and other production and life support facilities.
The first phase of the project reclaimed 262,000 square meters of land, formed a land area of 215,300 square meters, built a total length of 1,447 meters of embankments, dredged and filled about 1.43 million cubic meters, and dumped about 600,000 cubic meters of rocks.
It is understood that the commencement of the first phase of the project, has formed a land area of 27,800 square meters. The second phase will build three 5,000-ton ship repair dock and the corresponding ship repair production and life support facilities.
Started construction in January 2025, up to now, the project has completed a total of 9,800 cubic meters of siltation at the bottom of the embankment and 11,000 cubic meters of stone-throwing construction of the embankment, laying a solid foundation for the full-scale expansion of the work area in the next phase.
Upon completion, the project will further accelerate the development and construction of Meizhou Bay and Dongwu Port, promote the realization of a large port, large market, and large circulation hub in the port area, enhance regional economic division and collaboration, and effectively contribute to the development of the local marine economy.
Fujian Putian Lianfa Ship Repair Base’s main business includes ship repair and maintenance, with a registered capital of RMB 41.536 million, 100% owned by Putian Dongwu Park Investment and Development Co.
