On March 10th, Shanghai Ship Research and Design Institute (SDARI) under China State Shipbuilding Corporation (CSSC) and China Classification Society (CCS) Shanghai Rules & Research Institute held a symposium and signed the 2025 annual strategic cooperation.
Mr. Lv Zhiyong, President of SDARI, introduced SDARI’s annual business development results and key plans for 2025, and highly affirmed the breakthrough results achieved by both parties in technological innovation and project co-construction. He pointed out that in the past year, the two sides complemented each other’s advantages, cooperated fully, and achieved remarkable results in the design of key projects and key technology research, etc. He looked forward to deepening the strategic partnership in the future, expanding the dimensions of cooperation, and fostering a new momentum for the development of the industry together.
Mr. Cui Yuwei, Director of CCS Shanghai Rules & Research Institute, highlighted the breakthroughs and service capabilities of CCS in the fields of intelligent ships, clean energy ships, 3D charting and so on. He emphasized that CCS will give full play to its own technical advantages and carry out comprehensive and in-depth synergistic innovation with SDARI in the areas of ship design and development of new ship types.
Both parties expressed that they will take this signing as an opportunity to jointly create new benchmarks for Chinese technology, Chinese standards, Chinese ship types and Chinese services, and contribute wisdom and strength to the high-quality development of the global shipping industry.
