COSCO Shipping Specialized Carriers, Nanjing Port, and SUMEC Sign Tripartite Framework Agreement to Enhance Supply Chain Logistics

Recently, COSCO Shipping Specialized Carriers, Nanjing Port (Group) and SUMEC Group Corporation signed a tripartite framework cooperation agreement in Nanjing. Huang Nan, Director and General Manager of COSCO Shipping Specialized Carriers; Tang Wen, Deputy General Manager of Jiangsu Port Group; Niu Jianping, Party Committee Secretary of Nanjing Port Group; and Chen Feng, Deputy Party Committee Secretary of SUMEC Group Corporation, were present to witness this significant moment.

According to the agreement, the three parties, adhering to the principles of equality, mutual benefit, honesty, trustworthiness, and common development, will establish a long-term and stable partnership while continuously exploring innovative cooperation models to promote the business growth of all parties.

Through close collaboration, they will fully leverage their respective strengths to provide customized full supply chain logistics services for SUMEC’s exports of complete vehicles, components, equipment, and other goods, ensuring supply chain stability. To this end, COSCO Shipping Specialized Carriers will explore the establishment of a multipurpose liner route for breakbulk cargo at Nanjing Port and continuously optimize the route network.

In order to ensure the smooth progress of cooperation, the three parties will build a high-level meeting mechanism, and at the same time set up a framework cooperation coordination group responsible for the promotion of specific projects, and discuss new issues and areas of cooperation in regular meetings from time to time, so as to inject a strong impetus into the development of related industries through the integration of resources and the complementation of each other’s strengths.
