New Times Shipbuilding Launches an 11,400 TEN LNG Dual-Fuel Container Ship

Recently, New Times Shipbuilding successfully launched the first 11,400 TEU LNG dual-fuel powered container ship, achieving the major milestone as scheduled.

This vessel is the first in a series of 11,400 TEU LNG dual-fuel powered container ships custom-built for the internationally renowned shipowner MSC. It features a single propeller and is driven by an LNG dual-fuel engine, making it suitable for ocean-going voyages. It is capable of carrying various types of containers, including dry cargo containers and refrigerated containers.

This vessel has a total length of 335 meters, a beam of 45.6 meters, a depth of 25 meters, a design draft of 12.5 meters, and a structural draft of 16 meters. It boasts numerous excellent features, such as high energy efficiency and environmental friendliness, injecting new vitality into the low-carbon and green development of global maritime transportation.
