On March 7, China Merchants Jinling Shipyard (Yangzhou) Dingheng and Rongdua Shipping Group officially signed a shipbuilding contract for two 25,900 DWT stainless steel chemical tankers.
The newly contracted 25,900 DWT chemical tanker complies with the TIER III emission standards. It is equipped with 22 duplex stainless steel cargo tanks & slop tanks, capable of accommodating a variety of high-end chemicals and refined oil products. This vessel can transport over 90% of the global oil and chemical cargoes, and its tonnage is well-suited for ocean-going trade and various trade routes.
With excellent fuel consumption index, high corrosion resistance, high safety and intelligent management system, the vessel meets the latest environmental protection standards of the International Maritime Organization (IMO).
