New Times Shipbuilding Launches First 11,400 TEU LNG Dual-Fuel Container Ship for MSC

Recently, Chinese shipbuilder New Times Shipbuilding successfully launched its first 11,400 TEU LNG dual-fuel container ship.

It is the first ship in the series of 11,400 TEU LNG dual-fuel container ships ordered by MSC, an internationally renowned shipowner. The ship is driven by a single propeller and LNG dual-fuel engine, which is suitable for ocean voyage and can carry a wide range of containers such as dry containers, cold containers, etc.

The ship has an overall length of 335 meters, a beam of 45.6 meters, a design draft of 12.5 meters and a structural draft of 16 meters. It has many excellent features such as high efficiency and energy saving, green environmental protection, etc., bringing new vitality to the low-carbon and green development of global marine transportation.
