On March 1, Guangzhou Shipyard International, a subsidiary of CChina State Shipbuilding Corporation (CSSC), signed a strategic cooperation agreement with CSSC 722nd Research Institute. The signing of this agreement marks that the two parties will carry out in-depth cooperation in the field of ship communications and manufacturing, and jointly promote the technological progress and industrial upgrading of China’s shipbuilding industry.
According to the introduction, CSSC 722nd Research Institute is a leading domestic research institute for integrated communication system and supporting equipment for ships. The strategic cooperation between the two parties is another important step for CSSC to strengthen internal synergy and cooperation and resource integration, which will contribute to the construction of a world-class shipping group.
According to the agreement, the two sides will focus on promoting cooperation in business areas such as energy-saving equipment, energy recovery devices, intelligent manufacturing, information security, 5G, industrial Internet of Things (IoT), marine information systems and communication and navigation equipment on the basis of existing cooperation.
Guangzhou Shipyard International will fully leverage its industrial strengths in the field of overall ship manufacturing to provide the CSSC 722nd Research Institute with a collaborative platform for product incubation in areas such as ship coating, equipment energy efficiency, and airspace monitoring. The CSSC 722nd Research Institute will utilize its technical expertise and industrial advantages in communication systems, informatization, and intelligent technologies to support Guangzhou Shipyard International in the development of smart equipment and energy-saving solutions.
Meanwhile, the two sides also based on the framework of the strategic cooperation agreement, to organize their respective subsidiaries around the energy-saving dehumidifier-related projects signed a cooperation agreement.
