Wuhan Changjiang Ship Design Institute wins technical design contract for two types of cruise ships

Recently, Chongqing Changhang Ship Design and Research Institute, a subsidiary of Wuhan Changjiang Ship Design Institute, signed a technical design contract with Chongqing Damei Three Gorges Cruises (Damei Cruises). for the “Huaxia No. 6” cruise ship.

Additionally, Chongqing Changhang Ship Design and Research Institute signed a design contract with Chongqing Century Cruises (Century Cruises) for a “130-meter high-end cruise ship.

The “Huaxia No. 6” cruise ship features a bulbous bow and triple stern lines, and it is equipped with a conventional diesel engine power system. The cruise ship has an overall length of approximately 150 meters, a design speed of 24 km/h, and a passenger capacity of 650 people. Its navigation area covers inland river Class A navigation areas and J2-level navigation sections. The ship is positioned as an ultra-luxury five-star cruise ship and is the third large luxury cruise ship designed by Changhang Ship Design and Research Institute for Damei Cruises.

The 130-meter cruise ship’s navigation area is the inland A-class navigation area and J2-class navigation section. It adopts an electric propulsion system and is positioned as a high-end luxury cruise ship.
