CMJL (Weihai) laid keel for a jack-up self-propelled living platform

On February 12, China Merchants Jingling Shipyard (Weihai) Co. Ltd. (“CMJL (Weihai)”) held a keel laying ceremony for the seventh jack-up self-propelled living platform built for CTW (Tianjin) Offshore Engineering.

In order to make full use of the dock resources, speed up the process and improve the operation efficiency, the living platform will share the second dock with the same series platform W6035 for lifting and assembly.

In this regard, CMJL (Weihai) will coordinate, strengthen the production organization and management, and accurately promote the node plan.

At the same time, the project team will seriously summarize and learn from the experience of previous platform construction, improve the completeness of pre-segmentation and increase the reserve of segments through the connection of work processes, so as to ensure that the project will be pushed forward on schedule and with high quality.

The platform is scheduled to be launched in mid-May, according to plans.
