CIMC SOE Delivers First 8,200cbm LNG Fueling Vessel

On October 12, Nantong CIMC Sinopacific Offshore & Engineering Co.,Ltd(CIMC SOE), a subsidiary of CIMC Enrico, held a delivery and signing ceremony of an 8,200 cbm LNG refueling vessel designed and constructed for Italian’s Fratelli Cosulich Group. Designed by CIMC SOE, this vessel is the first liquefied gas tanker delivered after the operation of the company’s west plant, which is of milestone significance in the development history of CIMC SOE.

There are two 8200m3 LNG refueling vessels, completely designed and built by CIMC SOE. As an important ship type of new generation green ship and intelligent ship, they have complete LNG refueling function and meet the global emission standard. The S1058 delivered this time is the first vessel of this series, with an overall length of 113 meters, a beam of 20 meters, a depth of 13.5 meters, a design draft of 6.35 meters, a deadweight of about 5,300 tons, and entered into the Registro Italiano Navale(RINA).

CIMC SOE has delivered more than 40 LNG carriers so far, which has been well received by the shipbuilding industry and is the largest builder of LNG refueling vessels in China.

It is reported that, CIMC SOE has won more than a dozen new ship orders, including 40,000 cbm dual-fuel MGCs, 12,500 DWT clean energy dry bulk carriers, and 1,450 TEU LNG dual-fuel containerships, and currently has more than 7 billion yuan of orders in hand.
