Southeast Shipyard broke ground for three vessels

On February 11, Southeast Shipyard, a subsidiary of Fujian Shipbuilding Industry Group Corporation (Fujian Shipbuilding), successfully broke ground for two work vessels.

The vessel has a total length of 69.8 meters, a beam of 17.6 meters, a depth of 6 meters, and a structural draft of 4.5 meters.

It is mainly used for industrial personnel transfer, fresh water, drilling water, fuel supply and deck cargo transportation on offshore drilling platforms.

Classed by ABS, it meets the requirements of DPS-2, FFV1, and ESS-LiBATTERY classification notations, and it is a highly efficient and economical offshore maintenance workboat.

On February 12, Southeast Shipyard successfully kicked off the construction of an 88-meter multi-purpose platform supply vessel.

The vessel has an overall length of 88 meters, a beam of 20 meters and it can accommodate a crew of 60 persons.

With a speed of 14.25 knots, it is a double-propeller steel, electric-propelled offshore platform supply/oil spill recovery vessel (OSRV) , which can carry hazardous media such as methanol/LDHI and other flashpoints below 60 degrees Celsius, meets the ABS-HAB comfort requirements and ABS underwater inspection, and meets the DPS-2 power positioning requirements.
