On February 5, 2025, Wison New Energies (WNE) officially commenced construction of its Qidong Yard in the Lusi Port Economic Development Zone of Qidong, marking the project’s transition into the substantive construction phase.
The Wison New Energies Qidong Yard spans approximately 1.2 million square meters, has a coastline of 1,372 meters, and is equipped with a 520M (L) x 90M (W) offshore dock. The overall planning and design of Qidong Yard is completed by China Shipbuilding NDRI Engineering Co., Ltd.
Phase I of the project is anticipated to be completed and put into operation by the fourth quarter of 2025. By then, it will become a strategic pillar of enhancing WNE’s production capacity. The Qidong Yard will further empower Wison by delivering competitive integrated EPCIC solutions, such as large and ultra-large floating liquefied natural gas (FLNG) units, low-carbon floating production storage and offloading (FPSO) units, and modular projects, etc., promoting the implementation of innovative projects and driving the high-quality growth of the local marine economy.
