According to CCTV News, on January 22nd, the first all-electric law enforcement vessel in the national maritime system, “Haixun 10765,” was commissioned at the Liupima Wharf on the banks of the Lijiang River in Guilin, Guangxi. It was immediately put into service for safety supervision and support during the Spring Festival travel rush.
The Guilin Maritime Safety Administration stated that “Haixun 10765,” as the first vessel in the direct maritime system with an inland straight-wing rudder propeller and pure electric drive, represents the current advanced level of all-electric maritime law enforcement vessels.
The vessel has an overall length of 23.98 meters, a width of 5.1 meters, a depth of 1.35 meters, a designed draft of 0.5 meters, and a maximum design speed of 22 kilometers per hour. It has a load capacity of 100 tons and the ability to rescue fewer than 20 people.
Optimized for the unique hydrological conditions of the Lijiang River, which has low flow and shallow draft, its electric-driven straight-wing propeller can provide 360° vessel direction and propulsion. The vessel’s integrated control system combines energy management, propulsion control, and monitoring and alarm functions, offering higher efficiency and energy efficiency ratios than conventional government vessels.
The Director of the Lijiang Maritime Department of the Guilin Maritime Safety Administration introduced that the “Haixun 10765” vessel has an endurance of 14 hours under daily cruising conditions and can maintain over 5 hours of endurance even at maximum speed. It precisely meets the performance requirements for cruising law enforcement on the Lijiang River, can fulfill the daily needs of patrol and rescue tasks under various water conditions, and will be deployed as the main vessel for law enforcement on the Lijiang River, greatly enhancing Guilin’s integrated patrol and rescue capabilities.
Scientific calculations show that the “Haixun 10765” vessel can save approximately 140 kilograms of fuel per single trip and reduce carbon dioxide emissions by about 440 kilograms. It demonstrates characteristics of “high power, long endurance, high efficiency, and low noise,” providing experience and feasible solutions for energy conservation and emission reduction for national inland maritime law enforcement vessels and Lijiang tour boats. It will strongly support the green upgrade and high-quality development of the Lijiang River tourism golden waterway in Guilin.
