On January 22, Penglai Zhongbai Jinglu Ship Industry Co., Ltd. (Jinglu Shipyard) named and delivered the third 66,000DWT bulk carrier “SYABIL EMRAN” for PT. PERUSAHAAN PELAYARAN GURITA LINTAS SAMUDERA of Indonesia 38 days ahead of the contract period, marking the successful completion of the series of new shipbuilding projects. “SYABIL EMRAN” is the second vessel delivered by Jinglu Shipyard in January this year.
Classed by ABS, the vessel has an overall length of 196.0 meters, a beam of 36.0 meters, a main engine power of 6400KW (MCR), a full load structural draft of 12.2 meters and a service speed of 13 knots. It meets the Tier-III emission standard and is equipped with SCR system for both main and auxiliary engines. It is a safe, efficient, energy-saving, low-consumption and environmentally friendly super handyman shallow draft bulk carrier.
In related news, Greek tanker owner Oceangold Tankers has updated its fleet list to show that it has placed a new order for six 49,200 DWT product tankers at Jinglu Shipyard, to be delivered between October 2025 and November 2026, at an estimated total price of around $270 million.
