Shanghai Zhenhua Port Machinery (ZPMC) held the delivery ceremony of “Huazhaolong”, a 5,000-ton self-propelled crane engineering vessel, on January 18th.
Guangzhou Salvage Bureau’s 5,000-ton self-propelled crane vessel “Huazhaolong” is another masterpiece after “Nantianlong”, “Huatianlong” and “Huaxianglong” jointly built by ZPMC for Guangzhou Salvage Bureau.
“Huazhaolong” is a steel all-welded self-propelled crane vessel with long-distance self-propelled capability. The vessel is a self-propelled fully revolving crane vessel with DP2 dynamic positioning and anchor positioning, and can sail in international unlimited navigation areas. At the same time, it meets Tier III emission requirements, is classed by CCS, flies the Chinese flag, and can operate in global sea areas under specified operating environment conditions.
Compared with similar products, “Huazhaolong” has better self-propulsion performance and larger variable load. It integrates transportation and installation, does not require the assistance of tugboats or transport barges, can transport multiple sets of wind turbine equipment at a time, and has higher overall operating efficiency.
The vessel adopts the advanced DP2 Closed Bus Tie system, which can adapt to a variety of complex sea conditions. Meanwhile, it is equipped with 8-point mooring and positioning system, which is able to carry out mooring and positioning lifting operations under the specified sea conditions with water depth less than 100 meters.
In addition, the vessel is also equipped with a digital management system for all ship information and a power management system (PMS), which is in the leading position in terms of informationization, intelligence and greening of the platform. The delivery of the vessel further enhances the offshore construction capacity of Guangzhou Salvage Bureau and helps the vigorous development of China’s offshore wind power industry.
“Huazhaolong” is another product of the same type delivered by ZPMC after the 5,000-ton self-propelled crane engineering vessel ‘Huaxia Kunpeng 01’. The vessel will be used in offshore wind power construction, offshore steel structure installation and offshore oil large-scale module installation, and can also be used in rescue and salvage.
