On January 16, the official website of China State Shipbuilding Corporation (CSSC), “Group Leadership” column adjustments, newly appointed Peng Yuanpu as a member of the party group, deputy general manager. This is the third change in leadership at CSSC since last December.
Public information shows that Peng Yuanpu, male, Han nationality, a member of the Communist Party of China, was born in May 1974. He graduated from Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, majoring in mechanical manufacturing processes and equipment. He holds a bachelor’s degree, and is a senior international business engineer and senior engineer.
Peng Yuanpu has served as chairman and general manager of Jiangsu SUMEC Machinery & Electric, deputy general manager of SUMEC, director, general manager and deputy secretary of the Party committee of SINOMACH Automobile, chairman of the Board of Directors and secretary of the Party committee of SINOMACH Automobile, chairman of the Board of Directors’ Strategy Committee, member of the Audit and Risk Management Committee, member of the Nomination Committee, chairman of the Board of Directors of China Auto Caiec and Chairman of Zedriv.
In May 2024, he became the party secretary and chairman candidate of China YTO Group Corporation.In June 2024, he became the deputy general manager and member of the standing committee of the party committee of Dongfeng Motor Corporation.
So far, the leadership team of CSSC is as follows: Xu Peng (Party Secretary, Chairman), Wang Guoqiang (Deputy Party Secretary, Director, General Manager), Du Gang (Deputy Party Secretary, Director), Jia Haiying (Member of the Party Leadership Group, Chief Accountant), Sheng Jigang (Member of the Party Leadership Group, Deputy General Manager), Wang Zheng (Member of the Party Leadership Group, Deputy General Manager), Peng Hong (Head of the Discipline Inspection and Supervision Group, Member of the Party Leadership Group), Peng Yuanpu (Member of the Party Leadership Group, Deputy General Manager), Hu Xianfu (Member of the Party Leadership Group, Deputy General Manager). Xu Peng, Wang Guoqiang, Peng Yuanpu, and Hu Xianfu have all recently taken office.
It is worth mentioning that Peng Yuanpu, like Wang Zheng, is the only two post 70s in the group leadership of CSSC. Wang Zheng was born in September 1974.
December 30 last year, CSSC official website update shows that Xu Peng as chairman of the board of directors, secretary of the party group, Hu Xianfu as deputy general manager, party group members. January 6 this year, CSSC official website updated again, Wang Guoqiang served as deputy secretary of the party group, director, general manager.
