Dalian Marine Valve Secures Milestone Orders for Ultra-Low-Temperature LNG Carrier Valves

Recently, Dalian Marine Valve Co., Ltd. successfully signed two orders for ultra-low-temperature valves for LNG carriers with well-known domestic shipbuilder. This is the first batch of Dalian Marine Valve’s ultra-low-temperature valves for real ship applications, which is a milestone breakthrough.

It is reported that with the rapid development of the global liquefied natural gas industry, LNG carriers ultra-low-temperature valve demand is increasing day by day. Due to the flammable, explosive and ultra-low temperature characteristics of LNG, the reliability requirements for ultra-low temperature valves are extremely stringent. For a long time, the mainstream marine ultra-low temperature valve market has been monopolized by European, American and Korean manufacturers.

Through several years of dedicated research and development, Dalian Marine Valve has overcome a number of technical problems in the production of ultra-low-temperature valves, and successfully developed ultra-low-temperature valves for LNG carriers, obtaining 10 patents, publishing 6 papers, and obtaining 8 certificates of classification societies, such as CCS, BV, LR, etc.
