On January 11th, CAPE AVANTI, the second 50,000DWT MR tanker built by Yangzijiang Shipbuilding Group for the owner Evalend, was delivered and put into operation.
CAPE AVANTI has an overall length of 183.0 meters, a beam of 32.2 meters, a depth of 19.1 meters, a designed draft of 11.0 meters, a structural draft of 13.3 meters, and is equipped with an open U-shaped desulfurization tower. Its EEDI meets the PHASE III standard. The vessel was started construction in mid-November 2023 and is classed by Lloyd’s Register (LR).
It is reported that the vessel was delivered on January 8. There are a total of 6 vessels in this series, and the first vessel was delivered on October 18, 2024. The second vessel in the series was completed and delivered this time.
