On January 7, a 82BC KAMSARMAX bulk carrier built by Zhoushan Tsuneishi Shipbuilding was successfully delivered, which is the 300th vessel delivered by Zhoushan Tsuneishi Shipbuilding since 2007 when it started to build the whole vessel.
The hull construction of the vessel was completed in mid-August 2024 and the launching of the vessel was completed in late October 2024. The vessel has an overall length of about 229.00m, a beam of about 32.26m, a depth of about 20.15m, a design draught of 12.20m, a structural draught of 14.55m and a deadweight of about 82,300 tons.
Zhoushan Tsuneishi Shipbuilding was established in 2003, and like Tsuneishi (Shanghai) Ship Design which was established in 2006, is part of the international division of labor system established by Japan’s Tsuneishi Group in the 1990s.
Tsuneishi Zhoushan Shipbuilding is located on Xiushan Island, Daishan County, Zhoushan City, covering an area of 1,854 mu with 1,850 meters of coastline. It is equipped with two 1,000-ton and 3,000-ton wharves, two 100,000-ton slipways, and one 100,000-ton dock.
