Recently, CSSC Wuhan Marine Machinery Plant (WMMP), together with China Shipbuilding Trading Co., Ltd. (CSTC) and Saudi Arabia’s JANA MARINE Company once again joined hands to successfully sign a contract to build two living support platforms.
It is reported that the platform is an electric rack and pinion lifting platform. With cylindrical pile legs, it is equipped with full rotary thrusters, side thrusters, dp2 ship power positioning system, etc. It meets the latest Smart and cybersecurity ship class notation.
The platform fully complies with the relevant management system standards and design and construction standards of Saudi Aramco Oil Company.
WMMP is in charge of the EPC contract for the basic design, detailed design, construction and commissioning of the platforms, which will operate in the Persian Gulf after completion. The success of this project represents the customer’s trust and recognition of the company, and will further enhance WMMP’s influence in the Middle East offshore market, and continue to consolidate and expand the company’s market share in the Middle East region.
Up to now, WMMP and JANA have successfully signed a contract for the construction of multiple living support platforms, two of which have been successfully delivered in the first half of 2024.
