On December 30, the “Group Leadership” column on the official website of China State Shipbuilding Corporation (CSSC) Limited was adjusted, with the chairman and secretary of the party group changed from Wen Gang to Xu Peng; Hu Xianfu was added to the group leadership as deputy general manager and member of the party group.
Xu Peng, male, Han nationality, CPC member, born in June 1965, Tongliang, Chongqing. He graduated from Zhejiang University, majoring in thermal power of power plant, with bachelor’s degree, senior engineer.
He started working in Oriental Boiler Factory in July 1987, and served as a tester and deputy director of the Boiler Research Institute of Dongfang Boiler Company, director of the Marketing Department, deputy chief economist, deputy general manager, director, member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee, secretary of the Party Committee, general manager, and chairman of Dongfang Boiler (Group); director and secretary and other positions of the Party Committee ofDongfang Boiler Company.
From May 2006 to August 2009, he was also the chairman of MHPS Dongfang Boiler, the chairman of Shenzhen Dongfang Boiler Control, and the chairman of Dongfang KWT (Chengdou) Environmental Protection Techolog.
From April 2008 to August 2021, he worked at Dongfang Electric Company, where he served as general manager, director, senior vice president, and deputy secretary of the party committee etc..
In February 2023, he became Director, General Manager and Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of China first heavy industries. In September 2023, he became Chairman of the Board and Secretary of the Party Committee of China first heavy industries.
Currently, he is the Chairman of the Board of Directors and Secretary of the Party Organization of CSSC.
Hu Xianfu, born in October 1969, graduated from the Department of Management Engineering of Wuhan Water Transport Engineering College with a major in financial accounting. He is a postgraduate student in business administration at Shanghai University of Finance and Economics. He holds a master’s degree in business administration and is an accountant, certified tax agent, and senior engineer.
He served successively as deputy manager and manager of the Finance Department of China Merchants Industry Group, financial director and deputy general manager of Yiu Lian Dockyards (Shekou) and China Merchants Heavy Industry (Shenzhen) Co., Ltd., and financial director and member of the Party Committee of China Merchants Industry Group.
From July 2016 to November 2017, he served as Deputy General Manager of China Merchants Industry Group Co. From November 2017 to June 2024, he served successively as General Manager, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the Board of Directors of China Merchants Industry Group Co.
In June 2024, he was appointed as Chief Accountant and Member of the Party Group of China Dongfang Electric Company.
Currently, he is the Deputy General Manager and a member of the Party Group of CSSC.
