On December 25, Ningbo Ocean Shipping Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Ningbo Ocean Shipping”) and the Shanghai Ship Research and Design Institute (hereinafter referred to as “SDARI”) signed a framework agreement in Shanghai to jointly establish the “Green Intelligent Ship Joint Innovation Laboratory.”
Chen Xiaofeng, deputy secretary of the Party Committee, director and general manager of Ningbo Ocean, and Lv Zhiyong, director of the Institute of Shipbuilding, attended the signing ceremony and unveiled the laboratory. Chen Jiating, member of the Party Committee, director and deputy general manager of Ningbo Ocean, and Li Xin, deputy director of the Institute of Shipbuilding, signed the contract on behalf of both parties.
According to the cooperation and co-construction framework agreement, the two sides will build a normalized cooperation mechanism based on the principles of “sincere cooperation, complementary advantages, collaborative innovation, mutual benefit and win-win results”, and carry out strategic research cooperation on green ships, intelligent technologies, etc. in various forms, levels and fields based on new ship construction and operating ship transformation projects.
