On December 25th, Tianjin Marine Equipment Intelligent Manufacturing Base (hereinafter referred to as “the Base”) of CNOOC Limited successfully completed the mechanical completion inspection, marking the Base’s transition from the on-site installation commissioning stage to the trial production stage.
As China’s first intelligent manufacturing base for the entire lifecycle of offshore oil and gas equipment, the Base aims to achieve “intelligent manufacturing, green and low-carbon development, and employee-friendliness.” Construction officially commenced in July 2023, covering a total area of approximately 270,000 square meters. The Base has been listed as one of the top 100 national strategic emerging industry projects, a key construction project in Tianjin, and a demonstration project of intelligent construction in Tianjin.
After the base is put into operation, it will be mainly used for the processing and manufacturing of special threaded oil casing for offshore platforms, turbine testing and maintenance, integrated operation and maintenance of facilities and equipment, and manufacturing of artificial lifting products. The base aims to adopt modern digital technology to realize the whole life cycle intelligent production and operation of offshore oil and gas equipment from planning, design to construction and operation and maintenance stages.
At present, the workshop roof photovoltaic in the base park has been fully installed, with an installed capacity of about 5.5 MW, and the average annual power generation is expected to be about 5,836,800 kWh, which can save about 2074.28 tons of standard coal and reduce carbon dioxide emissions by about 5,744.61 tons per year.
