On December 26, Shanghai Zhenhua Port Machinery (ZPMC) successfully delivered the 5,000-ton self-propelled revolving derrick barge “Tiejian Qizhong 5000” built for CRCC Harbor & Channel Engineering Bureau Group. The vessel integrates lifting, transportation, storage and other functions, and is a world-class and domestically leading large-scale marine engineering equipment.
With advanced design concept and strong comprehensive performance, the vessel is equipped with 3 sets of 3,000 kW fully-rotating thrusters and 3 sets of 2,500 kW bow thrusters. Sailing speed can be up to 8 knots, its power positioning class is DP2, equipped with the first domestic closed-loop power positioning and power management system.
At the same time, it is equipped with eight-point mooring and positioning system, which can meet the requirements of mooring and positioning lifting operation in water depth of 100 meters, and can be deployed in unlimited navigation area.
In addition, a 5,000-ton crane is set on the stern of the vessel, with a full rotary lifting capacity of 3,500 tons, a main hook lifting height of 130 meters above the deck. The vessel can meet the needs of large-scale wind turbine foundation construction in deep sea, lifting and loading of offshore booster station, and also take into account the offshore petroleum projects, cross-sea bridges and other marine engineering construction operations.
As a leader in the offshore wind power industry, CRCC Harbor & Channel Engineering Bureau has invested in the construction of 5,000-ton revolving derrick barge, 2,000-ton jack-up and self-propelled wind power installation vessel and other “national heavy equipment”, which is a powerful initiative to accelerate the transformation of old and new kinetic energy, continuously consolidate industrial advantages and create new quality productivity.
After delivery, the vessel will be immediately put into deep-sea offshore wind power construction operations, providing strong support for CRCC Harbor & Channel Engineering Bureau to accelerate the development of strategic emerging industries, expand the marine economy, and achieve green transformation of the social economy.
