Runyang Shipbuilding launched a heavy deck transport ship

Recently, the “Shengchang 777”, an international unlimited-area heavy deck transport ship invested by Hainan Shengchang International Shipping and built by Jiangsu Runyang Shipbuilding, was successfully launched.

“Shengchang 777” is Asia’s largest deck transport ship with unlimited navigation area. It is classified as China Classification Society (CCS). It has a total length of 199.8 meters, a width of 43 meters, a deadweight of over 35000 tons, a deck load of up to 26 tons/square meter, an effective deck cargo area of more than a standard football field, a design speed of 12 knots, and a main engine emission meeting the requirements of the international highest level (Tier III). The load capacity is as high as 8800m ³/h, equipped with four anchor positioning, and meets all navigation conditions through the Suez Canal and the Panama Canal.

It is reported that the ship is planned to have a construction period of 13 months. After completion, it can carry 35000 tons of offshore wind power equipment for international maritime trade of large components and serve the construction of the national “Belt and Road” project.

It is understood that Hainan Shengchang International Shipping Co., Ltd., the investment company of the ship, is an enterprise registered in Yangpu, Danzhou, and “Shengchang 777” is also an international navigation ship settled in Yangpu. The ship will be widely used in marine chemical industry, thermal power module, offshore wind power equipment, major steel structure, heavy port machinery and other large cargo international transportation, serving the national “the belt and road initiative” project construction, to contribute to the export of China’s super-large advanced manufacturing products.

Runyang Shipbuilding is located in Jiangdu Yanjiang Development Zone and is a private backbone enterprise in Yangzhou shipbuilding. Over the years, the company has aimed at high-end, green, and characteristic, and has cooperated with Wuhan University of Technology, Shanghai Maritime University and other universities to continuously carry out product innovation and industrial upgrading. The enterprise has gradually developed and expanded, from the past “canal era” to “ocean era”. At present, it can build all kinds of large deck transport ships, container ships, oil tankers, chemical tankers and all kinds of marine engineering with less than 80000 tons, and the products are exported to all parts of the world. In 2022, Runyang Shipbuilding Industry will build and deliver 15 ships, with industrial invoicing and sales exceeding 0.5 billion yuan, winning the Jiangdu District “Climbing to Promotion” Award.
