According to Shanghai Waigaoqiao Shipbuilding, on December 21, the company successfully completed the relocation and installation of the M1 section (aft restaurant section with a streamlined shape) and the P2 section (balcony cabin section) of the domestic large cruise ship H1509. This milestone signifies the successful completion of the third major layer of the H1509 ship. The main hull assembly is now 91% complete, entering the final sprint phase.
During the construction of the H1509 ship, Waigaoqiao Shipbuilding followed the production plan, strengthening the bidirectional coordination between the dock structure and the platform sections to ensure that the dock structure meets the process requirements.
Achieve precise monitoring to ensure that the total section reaches the optimal state during the loading process, thereby achieving orderly and efficient connection. The project team is focusing on the three main lines of work, namely, bow/transom/nacelle shed area, to push forward the construction of the dock structure and the general section.
During December, the project team successfully completed the installation of the bow anchor winch ahead of schedule, ensuring the smooth assembly of the T3 section (bow section with bulwark cabin), thus laying a solid foundation for the main bow work.
The successful completion of the continuous relocation and installation of the two major sections has laid a solid foundation for the main hull integration scheduled for January next year.
