Recently, China’s offshore photovoltaic industry has made significant progress with the successful delivery of China’s first domestically developed intelligent construction platform for offshore photovoltaic pile foundations—”Lanhai Haiguang 01″—in Weihai, Shandong. This achievement not only represents a new breakthrough in the field of critical equipment for offshore photovoltaic construction but also injects strong momentum into the development of marine renewable energy.
“Lanhai Haiguang 01” is jointly developed by the Intelligent Construction Technology and Equipment Research Center of China Academy of Ocean Engineering Research and Beijing Blue Ocean Intelligent Equipment Technology Co.
The platform breaks through the traditional concept of offshore equipment and adopts brand-new design. It is equipped with a number of scientific research achievements, such as the first offshore heavy-duty robot with 20-ton gripping capacity in China, fully independent intellectual property rights to hold pressure and vibration piling equipment, ship walking anchoring equipment, etc. It features advanced functions such as 3D geological modeling, BeiDou high-precision positioning, automated pile sinking, intelligent intermodulation, quality inspection, etc., as well as realizing construction key data twinning, which especially improves significantly in terms of operational efficiency.
It is reported that as an important part of clean energy, offshore photovoltaic has a broad development prospect. The delivery and application of “Lanhai Haiguang 01” will help improve the safety, quality and efficiency of offshore photovoltaic construction, promote the large-scale development of offshore photovoltaic industry, and contribute to the realization of the strategy of “Ocean Power”.
