According to Nantong Zhenhua Heavy Equipment Manufacturing Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Shanghai Zhenhua Port Machinery (ZPMC), the three key components of the 1,000-ton gantry crane project for Shanghai Waigaoqiao Shipbuilding, undertaken by the company, have recently passed joint acceptance by the owner, supervisor, and general contractor. The project has officially entered the final dispatch stage.
The project has a short cycle, tight schedule, and heavy tasks. To ensure the project passes acceptance on time, the Quality Assurance Department of Nantong Zhenhua Heavy Equipment Manufacturing accurately identified the quality risk points of the manufactured components. They organized detailed quality briefings for the production departments and subcontractors while maintaining thorough communication and exchange with the supervisors and the general contractor to optimize the process of reporting and inspection and improve the work efficiency.
During the joint acceptance process, all parties conducted strict inspections on the physical dimensions and appearance quality of the components, and performed a comprehensive review of the manufacturing documentation. The results indicated that all components met the design and specification requirements.
It is reported that the successful joint acceptance of the three key components of the project has laid a solid foundation for the smooth dispatch of the project.
