Hengli Heavy Industries Delivered the Second 82,000 DWT Bulk Carrier

On November 26, Hengli Heavy Industries held a grand naming and delivery ceremony for the 82,000 DWT bulk carrier, which was delivered 94 days ahead of the contract period. The new building was named “XING AN HAI”, which is the second vessel of the same series delivered by Hengli Heavy Industries and the fourth vessel delivered this year.

With an overall length of 229 meters, a beam of 32.26 meters, and a deadweight capacity of 82,000 tons, this vessel is characterized by “green, environmental protection, energy saving, and safety”. Its Tier III and EEDlphase3 indexes meet the strictest standards of the International Maritime Organization.

It is reported that the Phase II project of Hengli Heavy Industries has also entered the peak period of steel structure installation. After Phases I and II are fully put into production next year, Hengli Heavy Industries will have an annual production capacity of 2.3 million tons of steel and 180 engines, and will achieve full coverage of four dual-fuel engines: LNG, LPG, methanol and ammonia.

In October 2024, Hengli Heavy Industries successfully listed on the A-share market by “backdoor listing” of Songfa Ceramics. Songfa officially withdrew from the daily ceramic products manufacturing industry, and its main business was changed to the research and development, production and sales of ships and high-end equipments.
