On November 17, Guangzhou Wenchong Shipyard Co., Ltd. (“GWS”), a subsidiary of Guangzhou Shipyard International (“GSI”) under China State Shipbuilding Corporation (CSSC), delivered the semi-submersible vessel “Jinfu No. 3”.
It is understood that the docking repair project of the “Jinfu No. 3” vessel includes hull underwater coating, ballast tank underwater coating, and other extensive painting tasks. GWS has proactively developed a construction plan and allocated human resources efficiently to ensure the docking repair work is completed on schedule.
Before starting the work, GWS took the lead in repeatedly inspecting the structure and layout of each cabin, clearly sorting out all systems. They also marked the cabin structures and risk points, effectively ensuring the safety and smooth progress of the project after work commenced.
The overall construction difficulty of this vessel is relatively high. After fully understanding the needs of the shipowner, the project team organized a start-up coordination meeting to plan the construction sequence in advance to avoid cross-operation. At the same time, GWS optimizes and adjusts the process every day according to the progress of the project.
Under the effective and reasonable coordination of the project team, all projects were carried out in an orderly manner, and the completion inspection of the original cabin project was completed 5 days ahead of schedule, which won the high recognition of the shipowner and ensured the smooth delivery of the vessel.
