On November 19, the material wharf of Dayangshan Offshore Base constructed by CCCC Sanhang Bureau successfully completed the handover and acceptance, which successfully opened up the transportation channel of raw materials on the isolated island, and guaranteed the daily supply of raw materials for the container terminal and supporting projects in Xiaoyangshan North Operation Area (Xiaoyangshan North). So far, the site infrastructure of the base has been fully completed, providing solid material protection for the subsequent construction of Xiaoyangshan North Operation Area and the development of Yangtze River Delta harbor and navigation projects.
Located in the center of Shanghai Yangshan Port and Ningbo Zhoushan Port, Dayangshan Offshore Base is only 6 kilometers away from the working boat wharf of Xiaoyangshan North Operation Area in a straight line, which is the professional supporting prefabrication base customized” by CCCC Sanhang Bureau for Xiaoyangshan North Operation Area. And it is the first comprehensive production base integrating the prefabrication production and transportation of “big caisson foundation” in Yangshan North Operation Area in the Yangtze River Delta. At the same time, it is also the first comprehensive production base in the Yangtze River Delta that integrates prefabrication and transportation of “big caisson foundation”.
It is understood that the base started construction in July 2022 and is divided into two parts: water and land. The land part covers an area of about 100,800 square meters and is equipped with production auxiliary buildings such as prefabricated components production and storage site, mixing station, sand and gravel storage warehouse, etc. The water part is equipped with a 196-meter-long shipping wharf and a 122-meter-long material wharf, which can guarantee the daily transportation of raw materials and the efficient shipment of prefabricated components.

At present, Dayangshan Offshore Base is focusing its core on the dual promotion of the in-depth implementation of the base’s north expansion plan and the construction of an intelligent factory, to further enhance the base’s comprehensive competitiveness through optimized layout and intelligent control.
In the north expansion area, the two production lines will be extended by 150 meters each and 4 prefabricated pedestals will be added to each of them, and the total number of prefabrication stations will reach 26 after the completion of the expansion, which can produce 10 to 12 caisson foundations per month and fully meet the progress demand of the project in the north operation area of Xiaoyangshan.
The construction and upgrading of the intelligent factory will realize the intelligent optimization of the whole chain from production line layout to wharf management, from raw material storage to finished product transportation in the future.
