On November 19th, Hubei Hechuang Heavy Industry (Hechuang Heavy Industry) held a steel cutting ceremony for the 23,500DWT chemical/oil tanker being built for Zhoushan Yongsheng Shipping. This project marks the largest chemical tanker construction project in the history of Hubei’s private enterprises.
According to reports, the construction of the 23,500 DWT chemical/oil tanker marks a deep collaboration between the two parties based on their respective advantageous resources.
The design of this vessel takes into account the particularities and safety requirements of transporting chemicals and oil. It employs advanced cargo hold sealing and protection technologies to effectively prevent leaks and contamination.
