MSC takes delivery of an 8,100 TEU LNG dual-fuel container ship built by New Times Shipbuilding

On November 14, Chinese shipbuilder New Times Shipbuilding held a naming ceremony for a 8100 TEU LNG dual-fuel powered container ship, which was named “MSC IVORY COAST”.

In the afternoon of the same day, New Times Shipbuilding held a delivery ceremony, and the 8100 TEU LNG dual-fuel powered container shipwas officially delivered to the shipowner MSC for operation.

It is understood that the shipowner MSC has ordered several types of LNG dual-fuel powered container ships from New Times Shipbuilding. “MSC IVORY COAST” is the first in the 8,100-TEU series of container ships.

The total length of this type of ship is 260 meters, the beam is 45.6 meters, and the deadweight tonnage under structural draft is about 101,450 MT.
