CIMC Enric Wins Order for Gas Supply Systems for 50 New Energy Vessels

Recently, CIMC Blue Water Science and Technology Development (Guangdong) co., LTD, (CIMC Blue Water) a subsidiary of CIMC Enric Holdings Limited (CIMC Enric), signed a supply contract of gas supply system for 50 new energy vessels in Huaiyuan County, Anhui Province, with a number of corporate clients, including Huaiyuan County Yuanshun Shipping, Anhui Gangrun Shipbuilding, and Anhui Haocheng Shipping. This milestone cooperation further establishes CIMC Enric’s leading position in the inland waterway clean energy vessel industry.

CIMC Enrico has been committed to promoting the development of green shipping on inland rivers and providing customers with efficient and environmentally friendly total solutions, including the construction of LNG-powered vessels and LNG bunkering vessels, the supply of LNG marine tanks and gas supply systems, as well as the construction of LNG shore bunkering stations and other full-chain services, in order to satisfy the growing demand for green upgrading of inland rivers and inland waterways. The signing of this contract reflects CIMC Enric’s technical strength and innovation ability in the field of new energy vessels.

Subsequently, CIMC Enric will provide gas supply systems (including LNG marine tanks and security systems, gas supply systems, etc.) to 50 new energy-powered vessels in the Yangtze River Basin in batches, helping the new energy-powered vessels to be put into operation smoothly, and further promoting the green transformation of China’s inland waterway shipping industry.

The rapid development of the industry is inseparable from policy support. Since the beginning of this year, China has successively introduced a number of policies to clarify the subsidy standards for the scrapping and renewal of old inland river vessels until December 31, 2028. At the same time, it took the lead in arranging about RMB 148 billion of ultra-long-term special government bonds for large-scale equipment renewal special funds to implement policies such as supporting the scrapping and renewal of old operating ships.
