Sanfu Shipbuilding delivers a 3500TEU LNG dual-fuel container ship

On November 15, Taizhou Sanfu Shipbuilding reached two significant milestones: delivered one 3500TEU LNG dual-fuel container ship and kikced off construction on another for a German ship owner.

The signing and delivery ceremony of 2#3500TEU dual-fuel container ship built by Sanfu Shipbuilding was held in the conference room of the company.

This series of 3500TEU dual-fuel container ships was designed by German HB HUNTE Design Company and adopts a forecastle design.

The main fuels of the ship are LNG (natural gas) and MGO (diesel), and it uses a vertical LNG tank, which is the world’s largest vertical tank onboard so far.

The ship can carry more than 1,000 refrigerated containers and is equipped with a refrigerated monitoring system. The EEDI index of the ship meets and exceeds the current industry standards, and its environmental performance far exceeds its peers.
