Recently, COSCO SHIPPING Technology’s “Cyber Security Design Solution” was awarded the Approval in Principle (AiP) certificate by China Classification Society (CCS).
As the level of ship intelligence continues to improve, the risk of ships being threatened by cyber security will gradually increase, and cyber security management will become more and more complicated.
COSCO SHIPPING Technology actively responds to the unified requirements of UR E26 (Cyber resilience of ships) issued by the International Association of Classification Societies (IACS), and provides a solution for ship cyber security E26 in accordance with China’s laws and regulations, standards, industry standards and technical specifications. This solution ensures that operational technology and information technology equipment are safely integrated into the ship network during the design, construction, commissioning and service life of the ship, and resolves possible major cyber security risks of the ship.
In the next step, COSCO SHIPPING Technology will work closely with enterprises and institutions in the industry to promote the formulation and implementation of ship network security standards, and plan the construction path based on the ship network security management architecture. It will continue to deepen the research and development of ship network security technology, continuously improve the safety and reliability of ship network management, and provide network security integration, management, operation and maintenance, and assurance services for the entire life cycle of ship design, construction, operation and maintenance, contributing to the sustainable development of the global shipping industry.
