DYOE receives order from Yangpu Zhongxin for two 50,000 dwt chemical oil tankers

Recently, Jiangsu Dayang Offshore Equipment Co.,Ltd (DYOE) and Hainan Yangpu Zhongxin Shipping (Yangpu Zhongxin) formally signed a contract for the construction of two 50,000 dwt oil tankers.

The vessel is designed by Marine Design & Research Institute of China (MARIC). This is the second chemical tanker order received by DYOE this year.

On August 23, DYOE signed an order for one 21,000 dwt chemical vessel with Hainan Linghang International Shipping. This order marks the first time that DYOE has received a chemical tanker contract in the past 6 years. The last time the shipyard took on a chemical tanker order was in 2018.

Founded in 2007, DYOE is a holding subsidiary of China Aerospace Science and Industry Corporation, a state-owned listed company under the Fortune 500 company China Aerospace Science and Industry Corporation. The shipyard is located in Hongqiao Industrial Park, Taixing City, Jiangsu Province, covering an area of ​​300,000 square meters and has a 500-meter Yangtze River coastline.

Founded in 2007, Dayang Sealift is a holding subsidiary of Aerospace Industry Development Corporation, a state-owned listed company under China Aerospace Science and Industry Corporation, one of the world’s top 500 companies. The shipyard is located in Hongqiao Industrial Park, Taixing City, Jiangsu Province, covering an area of 300,000 square meters, with 500 meters of Yangtze River shoreline.

Public information shows that Yangpu Zhongxin was established in 2021 and is located in Danzhou City, Hainan Province. It is an enterprise mainly engaged in water transportation. The registered capital of the company is 5 million RMB.
