Lixin Ship signs contract with Green Era Shipping for construction of 12 bulk carriers

On November 15, Fujian Lixin Ship Engineering (Lixin Ship) signed a contract with Green Era Shipping for the construction of six 4,300DWT and six 5,300DWT bulk carriers during the 2nd China Maritime Equipment Expo 2024.

Lixin Ship was established in 1981 and specializes in the construction and repair of steel ships. The shipyard covers an area of 520 mu with a coastline of 1,600 meters.

It has a 50,000-ton slipway with a 260-ton gantry crane, a 10,000-ton semi-dock slipway with a 120-ton gantry crane, a 5,000-ton slideway, a 3,000-ton slideway, a 7,000-square-meter CNC workshop, etc.

Lixin Ship’s representative ship types include 1656TEU container ships, chemical tankers, 11800DWT multi-purpose ships, 7800DWT bulk carriers, modernized aquatic product processing ships, ocean-going longline fishing vessels, ocean-going trawlers, offshore engineering ships, and ro-ro passenger ships.
