On November 12, New Dayang Shipbuilding, a shipbuilding company under Sumec marine, held a naming ceremony for two Crown 63 3.0 version bulk carriers built for China Development Bank Financial Leasing (CDB Leasing).
The two new buildings named on that day were the 100th and 101st vessels built and delivered by Xindayang Shipbuilding in the past six years since its establishment, marking a new milestone in its business development.
In 2018, Sumec marine successfully reorganized New Dayang Shipbuilding and promoted its rebirth. After 6 years of development, New Dayang Shipbuilding has continued to build its team, technology and product competitiveness, and its “Crown” brand has become more famous, its production efficiency has been continuously improved, its customer base has continued to expand, and it has won wide acclaim in the medium-sized bulk carrier industry at home and abroad.
At the same time, its full industrial chain operation model driven by shipbuilding and shipping has become clearer. It has successfully entered the core business segment of Sumec marine and continued to promote high-quality development. The orders on hand are scheduled to 2028.
Among them, the “Crown” 63 3.0 version bulk carrier built by New Dayang Shipbuilding incorporates advanced design concepts, has optimized hull lines, is more green, intelligent, energy-saving and environmentally friendly, and enjoys a good reputation among global shipowners. More than 30 vessels have been successfully delivered and orders have exceeded 100 vessels.
