On November 12, the first LNG dual-fuel 16,000 TEU container ship constructed by CSSC (Tianjin) Shipbuilding, which is 100% owned by Dalian Shipbuilding Industry Corporation(DSIC), successfully completed the routine sea trials and returned.
During the sea trial, all test items were passed at one time. The ship’s important performance indicators and equipment operation met the relevant technical requirements and specifications, and were unanimously recognized by the shipowner and ship inspectors.
CSSC (Tianjin) Shipbuilding is an important part of DSIC’s strategic plan of “one headquarters, four bases”, which will focus on the construction of large ships. According to DSIC’s plan, CSSC (Tianjin) Shipbuilding will take the three mainstream ship types of bulk carriers, container ships and oil tankers as the direction of product development, and build itself into an excellent shipbuilding enterprise with strong cost control capability, advanced management mode and profitability.
