Recently, Watts Energy & Engineering (WE), a provider of advanced clean energy solutions, successfully cut steel for the B-Type LNG fuel tank built for the 16,000TEU series large container vessel of Jiangsu Yangzi Xinfu Shipbuilding.
Each tank has a capacity of 13,000m³, crafted from 9% Ni steel, and weighs over 1,100 tons, making it the world’s largest type B LNG fuel tank to date.
The smooth start of the B-type LNG fuel tank marks that WE and Yangzijiang Shipbuilding have further deepened their cooperation on the basis of years of friendly cooperation.
