Recently, the Cruise and Yacht Subcommittee of The Chinese Society of Naval Architects and Marine Engineers was officially established in Wuhan, Hubei.
The Chinese Society of Naval Architects and Marine Engineers (hereinafter referred to as the Society) was established in 1943. It currently has nearly 30,000 individual members, including seventeen academicians from the Chinese Academy of Sciences and the Chinese Academy of Engineering. The Society serves as a bridge and link between the Party, the government, and the vast number of shipbuilding and marine engineering science and technology workers. It is an important social organization for the development of China’s shipbuilding and marine engineering technology.
In recent years, with domestic economic growth and increased consumer affluence, the cruise and yacht market is poised for continuous expansion, presenting favorable opportunities for industry development. The establishment of the Cruise and Yacht Subcommittee of the Society holds significant importance for promoting industry exchange and cooperation, enhancing overall competitiveness, and driving the formulation and implementation of policies and regulations.
