Recently, Nantong CIMC Sinopacific Offshore & Engineering Co., Ltd (CIMC SOE) has successfully completed a number of LNG tank project deliveries.
At the end of October, CIMC SOE successfully completed the delivery of two 2,000 cbm LNG tanks to Raffles at its East Terminal.
The project T147 is one of the series of LNG tanks built by CIMC SOE for CIMC Raffles, and the tanks are classed by LR. Previously, CIMC SOE has successfully delivered several sets of tanks of the same series.
At the end of October, CIMC SOE successfully shipped a 3,400 cbm LNG fuel tank constructed for Jinling Shipyard from the eastern dock.
It is reported that this series of products includes three sets of tanks (T167-169), each set equipped with a binaural fuel tank. A TCS compartment is installed on top of the liquid tank. After delivery, these will be integrated onto Jinling Shipyard’s dual-fuel PCTCs, offering the benefits and advantages of being economical, environmentally friendly, safe, and efficient.
In early November, CIMC SOE successfully loaded and shipped the third tank (T134) from the 4,650 cbm large vertical LNG marine fuel tank project for AC-INOX at the eastern dock.
It is reported that the fuel tank will be installed on a container ship built by Taizhou Sanfu Shipbuilding for Germany’s Hartmann. With this, CIMC SOE has completed the delivery of the first batch of three vertical fuel tanks for AC-INOX.
This project marks CIMC SOE’s first series of vertical fuel tanks. The second batch of three fuel tanks is currently being constructed as planned and is expected to be fully delivered by 2025.
